Hi all,

Is it possible to modify an Aero Force X80 short with the EXP?
I.e changing power cables and modules to achieve shorter draw length?

Hi Erik, how short would you like to go with the aeroforce?? Does the bow your wanting to do this with have short cams??
I have built custom aeroforce bows before using lf outboards and recabling and building custom strings for customers. Going with the lf outboards and using a compatable set of yoke cables will help shorten the draw length. The strings with this set up have run about 46 inches long.
You will have to try different cable string combinations to see which combination gets you the draw length you want.

Looking at the charts for the T-III EXP it would only take changeing of the power cables to obtain 21-27 " draw length, I need to be able to get to 23-24 ". The oneida af is a short!

On the T-III it would only require a change from orange to tan power cable and a change of modules, would it be the same for the oneida af?

The TIII EXP and the Aeroforce are tottally different bows.
Both the bows I did to shorten the draw length were medium aeroforce's. Made them into medium lf models and worked great. We can also try making a string 1/2 inch shorter. I have been told this may work also. :D

Erik you can also go up to a 1/8 inch longer power cable to acheive the shortened draw you need on your aeroforce.

This sounds interesting. Do you happen to remember what the draw length range and the bow tip to tip length was after the LF limb conversion? Thanks.

Dbows, the overall length on the bows was around 46 inches. When bulding the bows both shooters were 28 inch draws. Without measuring each bow I dont know exactly what the draw length was but would assume from about 27 to around 30 inches.
